  FLOYD BITTINGER
  
    Floyd Bittinger, 83, of McHenry, Md., died Thursday, Sept.30.
    Born in Jennings, Md., he was a son of the late Jacob and Elizabeth
  (Hoover) Bittinger.  His wife, Mary Martha (Gilpin) Bittinger, died in 1961.
    He was a member of Sand Flat Assembly of God Church.
    Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Olive P. Glotfelty, McHenry, Md.; Mrs.
  Beulah Cutter, Frostburg, Md.; four sons, Vernon Bittinger, Shepherdstown,
  W. Va.; P. Clark Bittinger, Deer Park, Md; Marshall F. Bittinger, McHenry,
  Md., and McKinley Bittinger, Hutton, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Weimer,
  Meyersdale, and Mrs. Lula Brown, Grantsville, Md.; three brothers, Columbus
  Bittinger, Frostburg, Md.; Raymond Bittinger, Lonaconing, Md.; and Norman
  Bittinger, Grantsville, Md.; 26 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
    The body was at the Stewart Funeral Home.
    A service was conducted at the Sand Flat Church with Rev. Alvin Kyle
  officiating.  Interment was in Rhodes Cemetery.
