  FRANCES G. BITTINGER
  
    Frances G. Bittinger, 66, formerly of Star Route, Grantsville, Md., died
  Oct. 3, 1980 at the Akron (Ohio) City Hospital.
    She was born in Akron, and was a member of the Arlington Church of the
  Nazarene.
    She is survived by her husband, Darius Bittinger, Akron; five sons, David
  Bittinger, Uniontown, Ohio; Paul Bittinger, Lloyd Bittinger, Stanley
  Bittinger and Leonard Bittinger, all of Akron; four daughters, Mrs. Mary
  Shafer, Bruceton Mills, W. Va.; Mrs. Grace McWhirter and Mrs. Lois Carter,
  both of Akron; Mrs. Sarah Broom, Grantsville; two brothers, Clyde Merriner
  of North Canton, Ohio, and Willard Merriner of Uniontown, Ohio; one sister,
  Mrs. Geraldine Quesenberry, of Akron; 27 Grandchildren and four
  great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home in Grantsville.
    Services were conducted at the funeral home by the Rev. Walter Otto. 
  Interment will be in the Grantsville Cemetery.
