  FRANK BITTINGER
  
    Frank Bittinger, 70, of Salisbury RD 1, died Nov. 11, 1972, in Frostburg
  Community Hospital.  He had been in ill health for several years.  Born in
  Jennings, Md., he was a son of the late Charles and Mary (Hoover) Bittinger.
    He was a member of Maple Grove Church of the Brethren, Grantsville.
    Surviving are his wife.  Velma Bittinger; three sons, Sherman Bittinger,
  Ellicott City, Md.; Herman Bittinger, Meyersdale; and Donald Bittinger,
  Salisbury; two daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Bittinger, Salisbury; and Mrs. Joyce
  Rafferty, Frostburg; 22 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and two
  brothers.  Ray Bittinger, Somerset, and Daniel Bittinger, Salisbury.
    Funeral service was conducted Monday afternoon in Newman Funeral Home,
  Grantsville, with Rev. William Ferguson officiating.  Interment in
  Grantsville Cemetery.
