  BITTINGER, Kenneth E. Sr.  10/15/07   Daily American
  
    Kenneth E. Bittinger Sr., 71, Bentleyville, died Oct. 13, 2007, in the Donnell House
  with his family by his side. Born June 4, 1936, in Salisbury, a son of the late Lawrence
  and Bertha Wilt Bittinger. Also preceded in death by five sisters, one brother and an
  infant son. Survived by his wife, Pauline Fundis Bittinger, whom he married on May 31,
  1955. Also survived by two sons, Kenneth E. Bittinger Jr., Normalville; David L.
  Bittinger, Bentleyville; one daughter, Helen Bittinger, Charleroi; four grandchildren,
  Nakia Theakston, Kenneth E. Bittinger III, Jessica Bittinger and Misty Thomas; five
  great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A member of the Bentleyville United
  Methodist Church and enjoyed oil painting and playing the guitar. Mr. Bittinger had been
  employed by Agway Energy of Eighty-Four as a service technician for many years prior to
  his retirement. Friends will be received from 1 to 9 p.m. Monday in the Greenlee Funeral
  home, 619 Main St., Bentleyville, where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday.
  The Rev. Sang Choi officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, New Centerville. In
  lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 777 Penn
