  MRS. L. A. BITTINGER
  
    Mrs. L. Annabelle Bittinger, 51, of McHenry, died July 31 in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.
    Born July 30, 1925, in Accident, she was a daughter of the late Clarence
  A., and Ida E. (Glotfelty) Knox.  She was an employe of Garrett Community
  College, Md.
    Surviving are her husband, Marshall F. Bittinger Sr.; five daughters,
  Mrs. Mary E. Artis, Friedens; Mrs. Marsha Jane Swauger, Grantsville; Mrs.
  Beverly Elane Thrasher, Deer Park, Md.; Mrs. Patsy K. Stewart and Mrs.
  Sherry Ruth Friend, both of Oakland, Md.; two sons, Marshall F. (Butch)
  Bittinger Jr. and James A. Bittinger, both of McHenry, Md.; a sister, Mrs.
  Susie Miller, Deer Park, Md.; three brothers, Clarence A. Knox, Deer Park;
  Carlton P. Knox,  Bittinger and James I. Knox, McHenry and 11 grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held August 3 at the Sand Flat Assembly of God
  Church with Rev. Alvin Kyle officiating.  Interment was in Garrett county
  Memorial Gardens in charge of Stewart Funeral Home.
