LOLA ELAINE BITTINGER

GRANTSVILLE, MD

  Lola Elaine Bittinger, baby daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bittinger, who reside 
near here, died at 3:35 o'clock Friday morning at the Miners Hospital at 
Frostburg.  The child was suffering from pneumonia, which caused its death, and 
was taken to the hospital Thursday afternoon on the advice of the local 
physician.  Had she lived until March 18, she would have been three years old.  
In addition to her bereaved parents, she leaves three sisters, Eveline, 
Evangeline and Ruby, and one brother, Blaine William Bittinger.
  Funeral services were conducted from the home Sunday morning, January 28, by 
the Rev. J. E. Walls.  Four little girls served as pallbearers.  They were 
Emogene Durst, Evelyn Platter, Frances Wilt and Ruth Butler.
