  MERRILL BITTINGER
  
    Merrill M. Bittinger, 49, of Grantsville RD 1, Md., died Sunday
  Oct. 20, 1985, at Frostburg Community Hospital, Md.
    Born in Jennings, Md., he was a son of the late John Bittinger and
  Bessie (Bittinger) Bittinger.
    He was a member of the Meyersdale Church of God.  He was formerly
  employed at Dickey's Woolen Mill, Baltimore, Md.
    Surviving are his widow, Viola (Bittinger) Bittinger; five sons: 
  Steve Bittinger, Frostburg; Roger Bittinger, Johnstown; Larry
  Bittinger, at home; Thomas Bittinger and David Bittinger, both of
  Friendsville, Md.; one daughter, Colleen Bittinger, Friendsville; one
  brother, Donald Bittinger, Accident, Md.; and two sisters, Mrs. Betty
  Bittinger, Frostburg; and Mrs. Elva Wilt, Oakland, Md.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home where services
  were conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Milton Morris. 
  Interment will be in the Bittinger Cemetery.
