  ORVILLE BITTINGER
  
    Orville H. Bittinger, 58, of Grantsville RD 1, died July 7, 1977 at
  Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
    A native of Grantsville, he was the son of the late Harvey
  Bittinger and Anna May (Durst) Bittinger.
    He was a member of Laughlin Church of the Brethren, a veteran of
  World War II and a member of Post 214 American Legion, Grantsville.
    Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Edna (Hutzel) Bittinger; three
  daughters: Mrs. Sandra Kelly, Meyersdale; Mrs. Wilma Hutzel,
  Grantsville; Mrs. Helen Newman, Germany; one brother, Simon
  Bittinger, Grantsville, four sisters: Mrs. May Hetrick, Grantsville
  RD 1; Mrs. Sadie Bittinger, Somerset; Mrs. Lula Durst, Accident; Mrs.
  Rhoda Durst, Grantsville, and eight grandchildren.
    Services were conducted at Newman Funeral Home Sunday with the Rev.
  Evelyn Bowman officiating. Interment, Grantsville Cemetery.
