  W. MCKINLEY BITTINGER
  
    W. McKinley Bittinger, 75, of West Salisbury, died November 2, 1982
  at Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    Born in Lonaconing, he was a son of the late George A. Bittinger
  and Rebecca (Burkholder) Bittinger.
    He was a retired farmer and a retired employee of the B. and B.
  Stone Quarry near here.  He was a member or the Cherry Grove Church
  of the Brethren near Salisbury.
    He is survived by one brother, Claude Bittinger, Sykesville, and
  one sister, Mrs. Hazel Fazenbaker, who is a patient at the
  Cuppett-Weeks Nursing Home in Oakland.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home where services
  were conducted with the Rev. Connell Chaney officiating.  Interment
  will be in the Robeson Cemetery at Avilton.
