(Dollard) Robb-Bittner, 99, of Patriot Manor, Somerset, formerly of Jennerstown, died Dec. 30, 2001 at Patriot Manor. Born Sept. 8, 1902, in Windber, daughter of Thomas and Mary L. (O'Brien) Dollard. Preceded in death by parents; first husband, Merritt Robb; second husband, Lloyd J. "Abe" Bittner; stepsons: Robert and Richard Bittner; sisters: Eleanor Dollard, Margaret Smith, Marie Beegle, Edith Dollard, Madeleine Ruckser, Regina McCallan and Helena Leonard; brothers: Edgar, Louis and Joseph; and step-granddaughters, Susan and Suzanne. Survived by these children: Dorothy (Robb) Kendall of Mobile, Ala.; Richard Beegle of Annistorn, Ala.; JoAnn (Bittner), married to Col. James Trayers, Springfield, Va.; L. James Bittner, married to former Lois Gombita, Jennerstown; Nancy J. (Bittner) married to William Baer, Fort Myers, Fla.; and Michael L. Bittner, married to former Barbara Pugh of Boswell RD; 32 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Dorothy Bittner of Somerset and Margaert Bittner of Sipesville. Member of All Saints Catholic Parish. A graduate of Windber High School. Attended former Indiana State Teachers College, Indiana, Pa. She was a teacher at the former Seanor Elementary School from 1920 to 1930. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
