  BITTNER
  
    Bessie M. Bittner, 83, Somerset, died Nov. 9, 1985, in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born July 10, 1902 in Jenner Township, daughter
  of the late Samuel and Emma (Weigley) Critchfield.  Also preceded in
  death by her husband, Harry I.; a son, Vernon; and five brothers: 
  Survived by these children:  Mrs. David (Elsie) Weimer, Somerset RD
  6; Mrs. Ray (Delores) Lane, Berlin; John, Somerset RD 2; and Leroy,
  York.  Also 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.  Member of
  the Sipesville Church of the Brethren.  Friends received 2-4 and 7-9
  p.m. Monday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home.  Service will be
  held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Sipesville Church of the Brethren,
  with the Rev. Blair Harshberger officiating.  Interment, Sipesville
  Cemetery.  Body will lie in state at the church from 10 a.m. until
  time of service.
