    Betty J. Bittner, 66, of Meyersdale RD 4, died Jan. 10, 1993,
  Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  Born July 8, 1926 in
  Corriganville, Md.  Daughter of the late Harvey and Clara B. (Dietle)
  Geiger.  Survived by husband, Robert F. Bittner; two sons: Richard E.,
  Basye, Va.; and Kevin R., Meyersdale RD 4; a daughter, Cheryl D.
  Klink, Meyersdale RD 4; one brother, Harvey Geiger, Jr.,
  Corriganville, Md.; four grandchildren.  Member of Mt. Carmel
  Lutheran Church.  Charter member, Eastern Star, Meyersdale.  Also
  member of Friendship Grange, VFW Auxiliary, and American Legion
  Auxiliary, where she served as past president of the unit, county,
  district and 8-40.  Former bookkeeper for Crestmont Men's Clothing,
  Frostburg, Md.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 today
  at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale.  Service will be conducted at 2
  p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church, Meyersdale RD 4 with the
  Pastor Charles Lady officiating.  The body will lie in state from 1
  until time of service.  Interment, White Oak Cemetery.
