  BITTNER
  
    Blanche M. Bittner, 89, died Feb. 11, 1997, at Stoughton, Mass. 
  Formerly of West Newton.  Born Nov. 10, 1907, at White, Pa., the
  daughter of the late Jacob B. and Addie (Trowel) Miller.  Preceded in
  death by her husband, Charles A. Bittner, who died in 1968; 2
  brothers, Ray and Clyde, and six sisters:  Lizzie, Katie, Annie,
  Olive, Goldie and Elma.  Survived by a daughter.  Ruth Ann Smith and
  her husband Herbert of West Newton, and a son, Charles M. Bittner and
  his wife Bonnie of Stoughton, Mass.; a brother, Reed Miller of Acme. 
  Also 9 grandchildren and a great-grandson.  Member of First Baptist
  Church of West Newton.  Viewing will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Thursday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, West Newton,
  Pa., where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Philip L.
  Bourdon officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park,
  Somerset.
