CLARA BITTNER

  Mrs. Clara Bittner, wife of Simon W. Bittner of Main St., died at her home at 
1 o'clock last Sunday afternoon.  She was born on July 10, 1872, a daughter of 
the late Cornelius and Elizabeth (Johnson) Witt.
  Surviving are her husband and six children: Mrs. P. P. Hauger, Rockwood; Mrs. 
B. J. Morgan, Canonsburg; Mrs. E. J. Cornell, Memphis, Tenn.; Mrs. Bessie Dwire, 
at home; Elmer, Meyersdale, and Mrs. Samuel E. Boyer, Pittsburgh.  Also 
surviving are four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
  Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the 
Bittner home by Rev. R. M. Dunkelberger, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church.  
Interment in the Temple Cemetery, Larimer Twp., under direction of H. R. 
Konhaus.
