    Deborah Rae Bittner, 58, died July 9, 2007, at Beaufort Memorial Hospital, Beaufort,
  S.C., surrounded by those she loved. Ms. Bittner was born March 2, 1949, in Berlin, the
  only child of Eleanor Bender Bittner and Lester Bittner. She is survived by her only
  child, Louisa Ramsey and husband, Rick Ramsey, Port Royal, S.C.; granddaughters, Kelsey,
  Abigail and Sarah and grandson, Brennen. She studied music in Paris and attended Carnegie
  Mellon University in Pittsburgh. She was active in her church and loved the Arts. She was
  a devoted mother who moved wherever life took her daughter. A service will be held 2 p.m.
  Saturday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 703 Parris Island Gateway,
  Beaufort. Interment will be in Berlin. Memorial contributions may be made to The American
  Cancer Society, 59 Pope Ave., Hilton Head, SC 29938. Copeland Funeral Home is in charge of
  arrangements.
