  BITTNER
  
    Donald J. Bittner Sr., 68, West Elizabeth, formerly of Meyersdale
  RD 4, died Feb. 8, 1996, at home.  Born Feb. 26, 1927, in Greenville
  Township.  Son of the late Irvin and Alberta (Miller) Bittner. 
  Preceded in death by son, Donald Jr.; brother, Kenny Bittner, and
  sister, Marion Tall.  Survived by his wife, the former Lottie Bowman;
  daughter, Deborah, married to George Behary, and grandson, Jeffrey
  Behary, all of Palm Beach, Fla., and daughter-in-law, Janice Bittner
  and grandchildren Amy and Donald R. Bittner, all of Pleasant Hills. 
  Also survived by sisters, Verna Berg, Meyersdale and Anna Platek,
  South Park, and brothers, Darrell Bettner, Meyersdale RD 4, and
  Melvin Bittner, Satellite Beach, Fla.  He was a World War II Army
  veteran and worked for many years as a construction worker for the
  Operating Engineers.  Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9
  p.m. Friday at the Griffith Funeral Home, South Park, where service
  will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, with Rev. Bob Koschek
  officiating.  Interment, Presbyterian Cemetery.
