    Dora Leona Bittner, 91, Somerset, died Sept. 25, 2000, at
  Meyersdale Manor, Meyersdale.  She was born June 4, 1909, in Lincoln
  Township, Somerset County, a daughter of John David and Elsie Emma
  (Shotts) Swank.  Preceded in death by parents, husband, Lloyd
  Franklin Bittner, who died Oct. 30, 1983; son, Ray Alvin Bittner;
  sisters Anna Weimer, Elsie Mikolich and Ermina Weimer and brother
  John D. Swank Jr.  Survived by these children, Mrs. Clyde L. (Hazel)
  Buell of Somerset; Mrs. Alice F. Culver of Champion, Mrs. Stanley W.
  (Janet) Mincek of Euclid, Ohio:  grandchildren, Mrs. Patricia Buell,
  Mrs. Jose (Ami) Gonzales, Mark Mincek, Mrs. Dennis (Michelle) Ecker
  and great-grandchildren, Adam Stern, Kelsey and Christian Gonzales. 
  Sister of Wesley A. Swank of Somerset and Mrs. Ella A. Beal of
  Boswell.  Member of Christ Casebeer Evangelical Lutheran Church. 
  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, at
  Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where services will be
  conducted at 2 p.m., Wednesday, with the Rev. Dennis L. Doebler
  officiating.  Interment in Casebeer Cemetery.  Contributions may be
  made to Christ Casebeer Evangelical Lutheran Church, 10377 Somerset
  Pike, Somerset, Pa., 15501.
