  BITTNER
  
    Edward E. Bittner, 74 of Meyersdale RD 4, died Dec. 2, 1996, at
  Meyersdale Medical Center.  Born Jan. 10, 1922, in Meyersdale.  Son
  of the late Edward L. and Nellie M. (Emeigh) Bittner.  Also preceded
  in death by his wife, the former Emogene M. Klink; brother, Mike, and
  sister, Dorothy.  Survived by two daughters:  Vickie E., wife of
  Eugene Brown, Mechanicsburg, and Cynthia K., wife John Smaila,
  Meyersdale; also two granddaughters:  Rachel Sepcic and Rebecca
  Brown.  A brother of Clarence Bittner, Vernon Bittner, Duane Bittner,
  and Vivian Bittner, all of Meyersdale RD 4; Lois Werner, Meyersdale;
  Shirley Ewen, Sacramento, Calif., and Delores Laderer, West
  Alexander.  Army veteran of World War II.  Member of VFW Post 3504
  and American Legion Post 112.  Retired from International Laborers
  Union.  Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the
  Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted 2
  p.m. Wednesday, with Pastor Albert Valentine officiating.  Interment
  Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
