  Eleanor Louise Bittner, 67, 302 Diamond St., Berlin, died Feb. 11,
  1988, at Presbyterian-University Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born June 10,
  1920, in Berlin, daughter of John and Edythe (Musser) Bender. 
  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Lester R.; brother, Maynard;
  and sisters:  Mildred and Beatrice.  Survived by daughter, Mrs.
  Deborah Ringler, Pittsburgh; and granddaughter, Louisa.  Sister of: 
  Irene Tressler, Boynton; Genevieve Kovacik, Monessen; John R.,
  Berlin; also numerous nieces and nephews.  Member of Holy Trinity
  Evangelical Lutheran Church, Berlin.Family will receive friends 2-4
  and 7-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin,
  formerly Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, where service will be held at
  2:30 p.m. Sunday, with the Rev. Melvin A. Kirk Jr. and the Rev. Ralph
  Mills officiating.  Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
