  FRANCIS S. BITTNER
  
    Francis S. Bittner, 62, of Berlin RD 3, died April 25, 1973 at his
  home.  Born July 20, 1910 in Meyersdale, he was a son of Howard and
  Margaret (Burkett) Bittner.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Elizabeth Shirey; and these
  children: Harold W., Francis Jr., and Fred E., all of Berlin RD 3;
  Mrs. Herbert (Mildred) Smith, Meyersdale RD 4; 10 grandchildren, one
  great-grandchild; also a sister, Mrs. Paul Peterson, Pittsburgh; and
  a brother, James, of Arizona.
    He was a member of the Assembly of God Church of Shanksville.
    Funeral service was held Saturday afternoon in Johnson and Son
  Funeral Home, Berlin, with Rev. Gary Pierson officiating.  Interment
  in Berlin IOOF Cemetery.
