   George R. Bittner Jr., 55, Somerset,
  died Feb. 20, 2006, at Somerset Hospital. Born July 15, 1950, in Johnstown. 
  Son of George R. Sr. and Rosella K. (Lensbouer) Bittner. Preceded in death
  by parents and sister, Margaret L. Wolford. Survived by wife, the former
  Susan Engle; sisters, Rosella, married to William Wolford, Benscreek; Sarah
  Jane, married to Dale Ogline, Somerset; and Wanda married to Timothy
  Manges, Somerset Pike. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and other
  relatives, including special niece and nephew Rebecca and Rodger Lindeman,
  Somerset, and special buddy Caleb Ross Lindeman. A 1969 graduate of the
  former JB High School, Boswell. A former employee of Highland Tank,
  custodian for the North Star School District, and piece worker for the
  Somerset County Workshop. Member of Horner Evangelical Lutheran Church.
  Loved spending time with his family. Was an avid fisherman and enjoyed
  collecting model cars and eagle statues. Viewing from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday
  and from noon until time of service 2 p.m. Thursday at the Hoffman Funeral
  Home & Cremation Services, Allegheny Street, Boswell. The Rev. Kathleen A.
  Kuehl, officiating. Interment Friedens Lutheran Cemetery.
