  BITTNER
  
    Harvey W. Bittner, 84, Meyersdale RD 4, died Feb. 9, 1978 in Sacred
  Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  Born Aug. 6, 1893 in Meyersdale, he
  was a son of the late Joseph and Mary Belle (Braucher) Bittner. 
  Survived by his wife, the former Dessie Wedge, and a son, Harry,
  Meyersdale RD 4; also three grandchildren.  A brother of:  Joseph,
  Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Mary Beal, Meyersdale; Mrs. Ethel Johnson,
  Meyersdale RD 1; and Mrs. Hazel Arnold, Somerset.  He was a veteran
  of WW I and a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin
  and VFW Post 3504.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Saturday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services will
  be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Charles Sigler
  officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
