He was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday. Mr. Bittner was a watch and clock repairman here for many years. His wife preceded him to the grave two years ago. Surviving are these children: Mrs. John Gauntz, Wesley Bittner, Mrs. David Lawson and Harry Bittner, all of Meyersdale; Louis Bittner, of Scottdale, and Howard Bittner, of near Berlin. Two sons preceded him to the grave. He is survived also by two brothers, Charles and George Bittner, both of Meyersdale. The body has been prepared for burial by Edward S. Landis, Somerset mortician.
