  BITTNER
  
    Jennett L. Bittner, 103, of Somerset, formerly of Rockwood RD 1,
  died June 23, 1999 at Somerset Hospital.  Born Nov. 2, 1895 in Black
  Township.  Daughter of the late Allen and Sarah Ann (Leak) Barber. 
  Preceded in death by husband Elmer C. Bittner in 1967, daughter Melba
  Lape, sons Samuel, Dewey, and Elmer L. Bittner; four sisters, four
  brothers, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  Survived
  by:  sons, Allen Bittner, Rockwood, and John Bittner, Somerset;
  daughters, Mrs. Carl (Sarah Ann) Watts, Somerset, Mrs. John (Dorothy)
  Friedline, Sipesville, Mrs. J. R. (Ida) Lehman, Somerset, and Mrs.
  Richard (Janet) King, Somerset; daughters-in-law, Carol Bittner,
  Martinsburg, W.Va., and Shirley Bittner, Somerset.  Also 38
  grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren, 27 great-great-grandchildren
  and 10 great-great-great-grandchildren.  Charter member of Milford
  United Methodist Church.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7
  to 9 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service
  will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Rev. Randall Bain officiating. 
  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may
  be sent to Milford United Methodist Church, 368 Bando Road, Rockwood,
  PA 15557.
