  BITTNER
  
  Leonard F. Bittner, 88, Meyersdale RD 3, died March 18, 1988, Sacred
  Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  He was born Dec. 2, 1899, in
  Greenville Township, a son of the late Urias and Sarah (Arnold)
  Bittner.  Survived by his widow, Myrtle McLaughlin; and a daughter,
  Betty, wife of Raymond Baer; also, five grandchildren and nine
  great-grandchildren.  Death ends a marriage union of 63 years.  He
  was a retired employee of Celanese Corporation of Cumberland.  A
  member of the White Oak Grace Independent Bible Church.  Friends will
  be received in the Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale, on Saturday 7-9
  p.m., and Sunday 2-4 p.m., where services will be Monday at 2 p.m.
  with the Rev. John Longley officiating.  Interment, Greenville Union
  Cemetery.
