    Leroy Charles Bittner, 87, Meyersdale, died Sept. 28, 2008, at his home. Born
  June 6, 1921, in Glencoe, the son of the late Harvey M. and Mary S. (Kroushaus)
  Bittner. Preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Forrest Bittner. Survived by his
  son, Gregory; and grandchildren, Ashley, wife of Caleb Vought and Shawn
  Bittner, all of Meyersdale; sister, Henritta Robinette, Corriganville, Md.
  Leroy is a member of Grace Brethren Church, Meyersdale. A veteran of World War
  II. A private graveside service will be held in Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery
  at the convenience of the family under the direction of the M. Ray Leckemby
  Funeral Home, Meyersdale.

      Leroy Charles Bittner, 87 of Meyersdale, died September 28, 2008 at his
  home.
      He was born June 6, 1921 in Glencoe, son of the late Harvey M. and Mary S.
  (Kroushaus) Bittner. Preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Forrest Bittner. 
      He is survived by his son, Gregory; grandchildren: Ashley, wife of Caleb
  Vought and Shawn Bittner, all of Meyersdale; sister, Henritta Robinette,
  Corriganville, MD.
      Leroy was a member of Grace Brethren Church, Meyersdale. A veteran of World
  War II.
