  LIZZIE BITTNER
  
    Mrs. Lizzie Bittner, 85, of Pasadena, Calif., formerly of
  Meyersdale, died Dec. 29, 1972.  She was born July 19, 1887, a
  daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Perry Stump.
    While still a resident of Meyersdale, she was preceded in death by
  her husband, Harry Bittner; and a daughter, Alberta.  A son, Harry,
  died later in California.
    Surviving are three daughters, Isabelle, who lived with her in
  Pasadena; Leona, wife of George Palm, McKeesport; and Sara, wife of
  Don Hellenga, La Canada, Calif.; also seven grandchildren.
    Funeral service was held Tuesday in California.
