    Lydia I. Bittner, 85, Meyersdale, formerly of Glencoe RD 1, died
  Oct. 9, 1996, at Kyle's Personal Care Home, Meyersdale.  She was born
  May 26, 1911, in Northampton Township, daughter of Anthony and Martha
  (Ernst) Leecy.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Verl C. Sr.;
  brothers, Elmer and George Leecy, and a sister, Alice Ludy.  Survived
  by these sons:  Verl C. Jr., married to former Judy Shaulis, Glencoe
  RD 1, and Ray A., married to former Darlene Boyer, Cumberland, Md.;
  five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Sister of Martha
  Blotzer and Clara Sage, both of Turtle Creek, and Mary Hersch of
  Glencoe RD 1.  Member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church.  Family
  will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Deaner
  Funeral Home, Berlin.  Viewing from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m.
  Saturday at Mt. Olivet U.M. Church, Rev. Craig L. Lyman
  officiating.  Interment, Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.  Memorial
  contributions may be given to Mt. Olivet U.M. Church, RD 1 Glencoe,
  Pa., 15543.
