  BITTNER
  
  Mable B. Bittner, 77, of Shellsburg [sic] died Dec. 25, 1975, at the
  Smith Home for the Aged in Mann's Choice.  She was born July 6, 1898,
  in Somerset County, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Emma
  (Poorbaugh) Bittner.  She was preceded in death by one sister and
  three brothers.  Survived by husband, Samuel W.; one daughter, Mrs.
  Bernice L. Whisel, of Jackson, Tenn.; four grandchildren; these
  brothers and sisters:  Mrs. Hazel Bittner of Glencoe, Mrs. Hilda
  Guiliano of Colonia, N.J.; Howard Bittner of Greensburg, Ohio; and
  Eugne [sic] Bittner of Meyersdale.  She was a member of the Lutheran
  Church.  Funeral services Sunday, Dec. 28, at 2 p.m., at the
  Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Shellsburg, with the Rev. Harold Nussbaum
  officiating.
