MARGARET ELLEN BITTNER

  Mrs. Margaret Ellen Bittner, aged 58, wife of John Bittner, died at 9 o'clock, 
Monday morning, Feb. 29, at her home in Brothersvalley Township.  She had been 
an invalid for six years.  Surviving are her husband and these children:  Mrs. 
John Bender, of Berlin; Louis C., of Garrett; Norman H., of Meyersdale; James of 
Brighton, Ia.; Francis, of Boynton; Edward W., and Sadie, in the parental home.  
She is also survived by seven sisters and one brother.  She was a member of 
Hay's Reformed Church.  The body was prepared for burial by Undertakers J. N. 
Johnson & Son and was removed to the John Bender home in Berlin, where funeral 
services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by Rev. B. Rhoads, 
of Frostburg, Md., followed by interment in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Berlin.
