Born Sept. 27, 1914, in Meyersdale, she was a daughter of the late Harvey E. and Lizzie (Seigner) Wahl. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Fay K. Bittner. Mrs. Bittner is survived by a son, Kenneth E. Bittner, Meyersdale; a daughter, Carol B. High, Front Royal, Va.; two sisters: Hilda Baker, Meyersdale, and Hazel W. Shockey, Casselberry, Fla.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Bethel Assembly of God Church and the Salisbury American Legion Auxiliary. Friends were received at Newman Funeral Home, Inc., Salisbury, on Feb. 28. Services were conducted March 1 at Cornerstone Assembly of God Church, Boynton, with the Revs. Donald Bradley and Garry Kipe officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
