MATILDA BITTNER

  Mrs. Matilda Bittner, 89, died Friday, Oct. 4, at her home on Meyersdale R.D. 
3.
  She was born on June 15, 1857, in Larimer Twp., a daughter of William and 
Caroline (Hutzell) Domer.  Her husband, Edward Bittner, died about 30 years ago.  
She is survived by these children - Mrs. Anna Stanton, Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. 
Ellen Swearman, Meyersdale R.D. 3; Mrs. Clarence Grahame, William, Henry, Edward 
and Charles Bittner, all of Meyersdale.  She was a sister of Mrs. Margaret 
Wilderman of Friedens.  She left 22 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.  Mrs. 
Bittner was a member of the White Oak Lutheran Church.
  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, at the home of her son, William 
Bittner, on Salisbury St., Meyersdale, Rev. H. K. Hilner officiating.  Burial in 
White Oak Cemetery under the direction of H. R. Konhaus, Meyersdale morticians.
