  BITTNER
  
  Paul Wayne Bittner, 77, of Somerset, died Sept. 29, 2003 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Oct. 2, 1925 in Somerset, he is the son of the late
  Orlo and Margaret (Bittner) Bittner.  Survived by his common law wife
  of 18 years, Dianne Livengood; children:  Robert P. Bittner of
  Gibsonia, Richard Bittner of New Cumberland, Kay Pletcher of
  Lumberton, N.C. and Scott Bittner of Listie.  Nine grandchildren and
  a brother, Walter Bittner of Creekside.  Member of Somerset Volunteer
  Fire Department and the VFW.  Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Tuesday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where service will be
  held at 10 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. Raymond Lyon officiating. 
  Interment in Somerset County Memorial Park.
