  BITTNER
  
    Rev. Raymond Clinton Bittner, 75, Meyersdale RD 4, died Jan. 8,
  1996, at his home.  He was born March 3, 1920, in Greenville
  Township, a son of the late Calvin W. and Ida Ada (Petenbrink)
  Bittner.  Also preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys Korn and Ina
  Hittle; a brother, Wilbert; an infant brother and three
  grandchildren.  He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Alberta
  (Conner), and these children:  Don Bittner of Meyersdale RD 3, Merle,
  Leroy and Karon Thompson, all of Meyersdale RD 4; Gloria Geary of
  Mount Savage; Sharon Robinson of Meyersdale; two guardian children: 
  Marjorie Sines and Linda Most, both of Meyersdale RD 3; also 23
  grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and
  four step-great-grandchildren.  Also survived by a sister, Mildred
  Sass of Franklin.  He was a retired farmer, truck driver and former
  pastor.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today
  at Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services will be at 11
  a.m. Thursday, with Rev. Barry Weyant officiating.  Interment, St.
  John's Temple Cemetery.
