  RITA M. BITTNER
  
    Rita M. Bittner, 61, of Meyersdale RD 3, died March 4, 1983, in
  Cumberland Memorial Hospital.
    She was born July 29, 1921, in Summit Township, daughter of the
  late Thomas and Savilla (Larue) Robertson.  She was preceded in death
  by a son, John.
    She is survived by her husband, John W. Bittner; two daughters,
  Mrs. Donna Kay Shaffer, Meyersdale RD 4; and Mrs. Debbie Ann Zimmers,
  Berlin RD 4; one son, Keith Bittner, Grantsville, Md.; eight
  grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Udell Lindeman, Boynton; and Mrs.
  Nellie Wilburn, Grantsville, Md.; three brothers, James Robertson,
  Meyersdale; Kenneth Lowery, Meyersdale; and Clyde Lowery, Seattle,
  Wash.  She was a member of Boynton Church of God, Meyersdale VFW
  Auxiliary, Meyersdale American Legion Auxiliary.
    Friends were received at the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, where
  funeral services were held with the Rev. Wayne E. Rickard
  officiating.  Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
