  ROBERT E. BITTNER
  
    Robert E. Bittner, 55, died Oct. 14, 1980 in Loch Raven Veterans
  Hospital, Baltimore, Md.
    He was born in Finzel, and was a son of the late Robert Bittner and
  Hazel C. (Lancaster) Bittner.
    He was a veteran of World War II, serving as an Army paratrooper in
  the South Pacific.
    He is survived by one son, Gene Bittner, Cumberland, Md.; four
  brothers, Leslie R. Bittner and Russell V. Bittner, both of LaVale,
  Md.; Delbert H. Bittner, Baltimore, Md.; Dallas G. Bittner,
  Tennessee; four sisters, Mrs. Edna C. Fahrney, Waynesboro, Pa.; Mrs.
  Anna Belle Nazelrod, LaVale, Md.; Mrs. Lois C. Stride, both of
  Cumberland.
    Friends were received at the Kight Funeral Home.
    Services were conducted in the funeral home by the Rev. W. R. Keefe
  Jr.  Interment will be in Hillcrest Burial Park.
