  Sadie (Sarah) Bittner, 86, died June 11, 1978 at the home of Mr. and
  Mrs. Charles Smith, 1201 Shades Lane, Cumberland, Md.  She was a
  resident of Hyndman and was formerly of Berlin.  Born April 19, 1892
  in Berlin, she was the daughter of the late Conrad and Isabel
  (Keifer) Felker.  Preceded in death by her husband, John M.
  Bittner.  Survived by five sons:  Walter, Cumberland, Md.; John,
  Ellerslie, Md.; Robert, Connellsville; William, Coatesville; and
  Richard, Youngwood.  Also survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy
  Leslie and Mrs. Ruth Dull, both of Scottdale; a half brother, Ray
  Hoyman of Garrett; a sister, Mrs. Fannie Molay of Johnstown; 32
  grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; and three great great
  grandchildren.  Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and
  from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Zigler Funeral Home,
  Hyndman, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. 
  Interment, Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Meyersdale RD 4.
