  SHERMAN R. BITTNER
  
    Sherman R. Bittner, 74, Meyersdale, died June 7, 1979 at Memorial
  Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  Born Feb. 8, 1905 in Garrett, he was a son
  of the late William and Emma (Fiddler) Bittner.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Beulah (Pritts); a sister,
  Mrs. Ruth Eastrage, Washington, D.C.; and a number of nieces and
  nephews.
    Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale where
  services were conducted with the Rev. Lloyd Wilson officiating. 
  Interment, Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
