  Valma E. (Barnhart) Bittner, 76, 430 Stanton Street, Greensburg, died
  July 26, 1979 at Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  Born March 11,
  1903 in Mt. Pleasant, she was a member of the Church of the Brethren,
  Greensburg, and was active in several womens church groups.  She had
  taught elementary school in the Altoona School District and taught
  elementary school for over 20 years in the Greensburg School
  District.  She is survived by her husband, Galen M. Bittner, a
  sister, Mrs. Audrey Guyer, Greensburg, and a nephew, Conroy Guyer,
  Pittsburgh.  Friends are being received at the Bacha Funeral Home
  Inc., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg, 7-9 p.m. Saturday and from 3-5
  p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.  Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m.
  Monday at the funeral home.  Interment, Westmoreland County Memorial
  Park, Greensburg.
