  Vernon L. Bittner, 70, of Meyersdale RD 4 died Oct. 29, 1978.  Born
  Nov. 27, 1907, in Connellsville, a son of the late Clifford and Laura
  (Petenbrink) Bittner.  Survived by two brothers and one sister: 
  Kenneth R. of Meyersdale RD 4; Glen and Mrs. Loella Hostetler, both
  of Geneva, Ohio.  Friends will be received after 2 p.m. with the Rev.
  Lloyd Trout officiating.  Interment, White Oak Cemetery
