WILLIAM BITTNER

  William Bittner, aged 61, a well known resident of Garrett, died Wednesday at 
his home, following an illness of several months.  Surviving are his wife and 
the following children:  Mrs. Lee Saylor, of Meyersdale; Mrs. Robert Patterson, 
of Garrett; Sherman and Ruth Bittner, both at home, and Mrs. Harry Walters, of 
Garrett.  Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock.  The body 
was prepared for burial by J. N. Johnson & Son, of Berlin.
