Black, Somerset, RD 5, died in the Allegheny General Hospital Saturday afternoon. Born in East Liverpool, Ohio, Aug. 7, 1922, a son of the late Robert and Mary Griffith Black. He was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Somerset. He was a branch manager for the Northern Propane Gas Co. of Somerset. Survived by his wife Rosemary Leone Black, and children Lawrence J., U.S. Navy; Timothy P., Anthony P. and Miss Suzanne Black, all at home, and the following brothers and sisters; Donald, South Bend, Ind., Harold, Va.; Albert, Cowansville; Dean, Rochester N.Y.; Alan, Pittsburgh; Mrs. Ida Bish, Greensburg; Mrs. Nancy Bossart and Mrs. Mary Lessman, both of Mt. Pleasant RD; Mrs. Lorraine Lukacs and Mrs. Shirley Febinger both of Greensburg; and Miss Edith Black, McKeesport. Friends will be received at the Henry S. Coshey Funeral Home, 319 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. beginning at 7 p.m. Monday evening. Funeral mass will be sung in the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. with the Father Tomaselli celebrant. Interment will follow in the Twin Valley Memorial Park in Delmont.
