  MARY BLACKMAN
  
    Mary Prideaux Blackman, 77, Carriage Hill Apartments, formerly of
  Twin Rocks, died Nov. 12, 1987, at Memorial Hospital.
    She was born April 28, 1910, in Twin Rocks, daughter of late Dr.
  William A. and Maude (Grumbling) Prideaux.
    She was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.
    She is survived by nephews, Dr. William P. Smith, Ebensburg; Dr.
  Frederick R. Smith, Confluence; James S. Jenkins III, Plantation,
  Fla.; and Dorning Metzler, Greensboro, N. C.; and niece, Elizabeth
  Collins, Washington; also 12 grandnieces and grandnephews.
    She attended United Methodist Church; retired home economics
  teacher for Blacklick Valley High School.  B.S. degree graduate of
  Drexel University.
    She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma honorary sorority.
    Friends were received at Askew-Houser Funeral Home, Ebensburg,
  where services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, the Rev. Clayton
  Harriger.  Interment, Lloyd Cemetery.
