  BLADES
  
  Edna Virginia Blades, 76, of Somerset, died Oct. 27, at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born June 24, 1901 in Somerset County, the
  daughter of Andrew and Jennie (Ferrel) Demmitt.  Preceded in death by
  husband, James H., one brother and one sister.  Survived by these
  children:  Paul of Dover, N.J.; Mrs. Dwight (Janet) Stutzman,
  Indiana, Pa.; Mrs. William (Ruth Ann) Thomas, Somerset; and Jack, of
  Stoystown RD 3.  Also survived by nine grandchildren and four great
  grandchildren.  Survived by brother, Clyde of Somerset.  A member of
  Somerset VFW auxiliary and the Calvary United Methodist Church. 
  Friends are being received in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home,
  where service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday.  Interment, Somerset
  County Memorial Park.
