Blair, 54, Boswell RD 2, died Dec. 31 in Somerset Community Hospital. He was born July 16, 1920 in Franklin County, a son of the late Clarence Omar and Elsie Shives Blair. Preceded in death by one son. Survived by his wife the former Harveda Mapel and these children: Gregory, Somerset RD 3; Carol, Mark, Amy, William and Ted, all at home, one granddaughter. He was a brother of Mrs. Harvey Walker, Mercersburg; Mrs. Joseph Mowen, of Waynesboro; Mrs. Wayne Black and Harry of Chambersburg; Mrs. Lloyd Burkholder, Scotland, Pa. Ervin, Hagerstown, Md.; Dean, John, Thomas, Mrs. Galen Taylor and Richard, all of Greencastle. He was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Pennsylvania Farmers' Association, and was a salesman for the Grover's Fertilizer Co. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the Bethany United Methodist church with Rev.
