  BURDETTE (ABE) LEROY BLAKE
  
  Burdette (Abe) Leroy Blake, 82, Accident, Md., died Jan. 21, 2004, at the
  Goodwill Mennonite Nursing Home.  He was born Feb. 17, 1921, in Boynton, a son
  of the late Issac and Goldie (Kendall) Blake.  He was preceded in death by his
  wife, Clara (Pugh) Lindeman Blake June, 18, 1995.  He is survived by sisters
  Evelyn Mosser, Accident, Md., Edna Paul, Boynton, and Shirley Baer of
  Baltimore, Md.  He is also survived by a number of stepchildren.  He was a
  member of the International Union of Operator Engineers and a member of the
  Hostetler Church of the Brethren.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7
  to 9 p.m. Thursday at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, where the funeral
  service will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m.  The Rev. Doug Diamond officiating.
  Interment in the Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.

    Burdette (Abe) Blake, 82, of Accident, Md., died Wednesday, January 21, 2004,
  at the Goodwill Mennonite Nursing Home.
    He was born February 17, 1921, in Boynton, a son of the late Issac Blake and
  Goldie (Kendall) Blake.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara (Pugh) Lindeman Blake on June 18,
  1995.
    He is survived by sisters: Evelyn Mosser of Accident; Edna Paul of Boynton;
  and Shirley Baer of Baltimore, Md. He is also survived by a number of
  stepchildren.
    He was a member of the International Union of Operator Engineers and a member
  of the Hostetler Church of the Brethren.
    Friends were received Thursday at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home,
  Meyersdale, where the funeral service was conducted at 2 p.m. Friday with Doug
  Diamond officiating. Interment was in the Union Cemetery, Meyersdale
