He was born Feb. 17, 1921, in Boynton, a son of the late Issac and Goldie (Kendall) Blake. He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara (Pugh) Lindeman Blake June, 18, 1995. He is survived by sisters Evelyn Mosser, Accident, Md., Edna Paul, Boynton, and Shirley Baer of Baltimore, Md. He is also survived by a number of stepchildren. He was a member of the International Union of Operator Engineers and a member of the Hostetler Church of the Brethren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Doug Diamond officiating. Interment in the Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
