"Zook" Blake, 71, Boyers Road, Marion Township, Butler County, died Sept. 13, 1995, at United Community Hospital, Pine Township, Mercer County. Born March 2, 1924, in Boynton. Son of Isaac and Goldie (Kendall) Blake. Preceded in death by parents and a brother. survived by his wife, Dorothy A. (Long) Kale Blake, whom he married Sept. 11, 1976; a daughter, Deborah K. Hetz, Garrett; two sons, Michael E. Blake, Garrett, and Keith A. Blake, Boynton; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Leroy W. (Ruth E.) Fink, Harrisville; four grandchildren and a step-grandson. Brother of Leroy Blake, Boynton; Doretha Housel, Meyersdale; Edna Paul, Boynton; Evelyn Mosser, Accident, Md., and Shirley Baer, Baltimore, Md. He was a laborer for PennDOT and in maintenance at Slippery Rock University, retiring in 1986. Member of West Unity Community Church, Marion Township, Butler County. Friends received from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at 1 p.m. Friday at the Jamison Funeral Home, 117 N. Main St. Harrisville, Pastor Boyd D. Smith. Interment, Prairie Cemetery.
