BLAND Maudie Mae Bland, 85, a patient at the Egle Nursing Home and a former Westernport, Maryland resident, died November 4, 1982 at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Maryland. Born in Westernport, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Tranum and Ellen (Wilson) Tranum. Her husband, Albert H. Bland, preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons, Elmer Beeman, Petersburg, Va.; Robert Beeman, Baltimore, Maryland; one daughter, Mrs. Lillian Haggard, Frostburg, Maryland; four brothers, Elmer Tranum, Baltimore; Charles Winkler and James Winkler, both of Franklin; John Winkler, Berlin. Friends were received at the Boal Funeral Home, Lonaconing, Maryland. The body was taken to the Small Funeral Home in Colonial Heights, Va., where friends were received. Services were conducted at the Small Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Pyle officiating. Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Cemetery, Colonial Heights.
