BLANK Anna Mary Blank, 85, Mount Savage, Md., died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 1988, at Allegany County Nursing Home, Md. Born May 14, 1903, in Pocahontas, she was the daughter of the late James and Rebecca (Bolden) McKenzie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl J. Blank Sr., in 1973. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Mount Savage, Md., and an eye donor with the Maryland Eye Bank. Surviving are six sons, Carl J. Blank, Eckhart, Md.; James Perry Blank, Cresaptown, Md.; Phillip Ellsworth Blank, Reisterstown, Md.; John Gilbert Blank, Spokane, Wash.; Richard Ronald Blank, Cucamonga, Calif.; and Russell E. Blank, Mount Savage, Md.; two daughters, Martha Williams, Mount Savage, Md.; and Linnie Mace, LaVale, Md.; one brother, James McKenzie, Bloomfield Hills, Mich.; 27 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Sowers Funeral Home. Services were held Friday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Mount Savage, Md., by Fr. John Mackey. Interment, St. Patrick's Cemetery. All pallbearers were grandsons. Honorary pallbearers were Charles Mace, Gary Mace, James Williams Jr., Rick Williams, Dale Blank and Randall Blank. Pallbearers were Richard Mace, Carl Dennis Blank, Russell Blank Jr., Kenneth Williams, Keith Blank and Allen Blank. The Republic, November 10, 1988 [B1743]
