  WINARD H. BLANK
  
    Winard H. Blank, 80, of New Town, died May 30, 1988, in Frostburg
  Community Hospital.
    Born in Mt. Savage, Md., Sept. 10, 1907, he was the son of the late Lewis
  and Grace (Yantz) Blank.
    He was retired from the Kelly-Springfield Tire Company.  He was a member
  of Local 26, United Rubber Workers; Mount Savage United Methodist Church;
  the Mount Savage Volunteer Fire Department; and the Mount Savage Senior
  Citizens.
    Survivors include his widow, Evelyn (Williams) Blank; two sons, Donald H.
  Blank, Frostburg, Md., and Robert C. Blank, at home; one daughter, Norma Lee
  Stevens, Borden Mines; one brother, Gerald Blank, Barrelville, Md.; a
  sister, Gladys Deffenbaugh, who resides in the Frostburg Village Nursing
  Home; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received in the Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, Md., where
  services were conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Thomas E. Young Jr.
    Interment, Mount Savage United Methodist Cemetery.
